Looking Back At Fusion Digital 2024

In 2024, ABSL Fusion Leader participants embarked on a transformative journey, working together to address some of the most pressing challenges in business services. They tackled real-world issues like rebranding strategies to attract top digital talent, breaking barriers in women’s leadership, implementing AI in talent development, and rethinking workplace policies to meet changing employee expectations. Through expert-led coaching, hands-on projects, and collaboration with industry leaders, participants gained practical experience, built strong professional networks, and developed leadership skills that will drive the future of the Czech business services sector.

404: Talent Not Found. GBS Branding Reconfiguration to Recruit and Retain Digital Innovators.

As competition for digital talent grows, this project explores how rebranding can help Czech GBS centres stand out. With 72% of centres building in-house robotics and automation (ABSL Report 2024), it’s clear that innovation is at the core of future talent needs. Learn how to attract top digital innovators and prepare your workforce for the rapid growth of our sector. This group is led by expert coach Rudolf Zvánovec (Coaching Systems).

Why come to the office?

Is there a disconnect between what employees want and what employers offer? Fusion Leaders asked, and more than 600 responses made it clear: expectations are shifting. Do you know what you need to build a bridge between them? This project dives into the gap between employee needs and workplace policies, focusing on how companies can align their approach to create a more engaged and productive workforce. With 58% of centres ready to allow work from abroad if enabled by legislation (ABSL Report 2024), now is the time to rethink flexibility and work arrangements to retain top talent. Smarter Talent Development in GBS with the use of AI

As GBS evolves, one-size-fits-all talent development is no longer enough. With 72% of centres building their automation capabilities in-house (ABSL Report 2024), the need for a more tailored approach to workforce development has never been greater.

This project uncovers how AI is enabling customized learning and skills gap assessments, equipping your workforce for future growth. AI-driven solutions are transforming talent development, ensuring that as the sector grows to 200,000 jobs​ (The ABSL Czech Edge document), your centre and team will be ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow. This group is led by expert coach Ota Kulhanek.

Breaking Barriers: Women’s Leadership in Global Services

Can you imagine sitting in a room, knowing that your qualifications and experience should speak for themselves, yet still feeling at a disadvantage simply because you’re a woman? A staggering 30% of women in our organization have felt this during recruitment.

This project tackles these challenges head-on, exploring global initiatives like Japan’s “Womenomics” and policies from Sweden and Germany that empower women in leadership. With 73% of Czech centres promoting parental leave inclusion (ABSL Report 2024), Fusion Leaders aim to bridge the gender gap and create a more inclusive leadership landscape in business services.
