Jonathan Appleton

Managing Director, member of the Board of Directors

Jonathan is the Managing Director of ABSL Czech Republic which represents the interests of Global Shared Service Centres and Outsourcing firms in the Czech Republic, one of Europes top outsourcing destinations. Jonathan has over 20 years experience in the CEE region and previously was a director at PwC Czech Republic where he supported Business Services clients in the Czech Republic and across CEE.

Bohumil Říha

Managing Director of Johnson&Johnson Global services in Prague

In addition to his role as director, he also leads the EMEA Procurement Team and is a member of the Global Procurement Leadership team.

He started working at Johnson & Johnson in 2016 and has extensive experience in Procurement, HR and Finance from more than 18 years in operation, transition and transformation in global business services and business process outsourcing.

Bohumil strongly believes in the strengths of the people in the sector of global services and he wants to focus on the development of the sector via growing of our people.

František Havel

Global Service Center Operations Manager at Sandoz

František Havel, NGSC Prague Strategy & Operations manager in the global service center of Novartis in Prague. He has extensive experience from more than 19 years of operation in the sector of global business services. He dealt with both improving the efficiency of processes and increasing the quality of services provided in IT/telecommunications, finance and HR.

His goal on the ABSL Board of Directors is to raise awareness of the sector in the Czech Republic, promote the importance of key skills such as best-in-class business partnerships and reach out to qualified professionals and talented graduates.

Roman Pavloušek

Global FSC Manager at Atlas Copco Services

Roman is an experienced executive director with a broad experience in finance & accounting, IT, risk & compliance and operations. He is currently leading Global Finance SSC function for global manufacturing company Edwards Ltd, having responsibility for managing centralized finance processes (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Information Provision&Analysis) and leading over 130 staff in centres based in Czech Republic and South Korea.

Jan Skoták

Jan is Infosys BPO Regional Center Head, responsible for Infosys BPO presence and operations in the Czech Republic. In addition, he drives client relationships and business growth for a portfolio of Fortune 500 companies across Europe, US, and Brazil. He is a member of Infosys Global Management Council. Jan has been with Infosys for 10+ years and has been the founding member of the team that has built Infosys BPO presence in the CEE region. He has managed the first Infosys BPO global operations from the CEE region and subsequently played several operational, sales, and strategic roles in Europe and US.

Ota Kulhánek

Honorary member of the Board of the Directors

Ota has been working in the SSC / BPO industry from the year 2003. Since 2011 he has been leading the internal SSC for Accenture in Prague. From 2003 to 2011 he had been working in the BPO area lastly he was leading Finance & Accounting BPO for Accenture in the Czech Republic. His areas of expertise are: SSC / BPO market and management, finance and accounting, project management and operational excellence.

Iveta Chválová

Managing Director of SAP Services

Iveta Chválová, Managing Director of SAP Services in Prague. In addition to her role as director, she also leads the international Global Mobility team with overall responsibility for all cross-border movements and relocations within SAP. She started working at SAP after graduating from university in 2005. As part of her work at ABSL, she wants to actively contribute to the growth of the business services sector. She believes that the potential is huge and is convinced that business services are an increasingly important part of the entire value chain of companies.

Helena Tabakovová

Senior Operations Manager: Business Development & Conference

Helena came to ABSL with direct experience from the international expert and contact center BlueLink International CZ, where she worked as a Brand and Employee Experience Manager. She was engaged in projects that won BlueLink prestigious awards in the area of business services. Helena also has significant work experience from the media as well as NGOs as a project and marketing manager.
As the Operations Manager at ABSL she is mainly responsible for business development, developing relations with ABSL members and partners and is in charge of ABSL projects and events at the operational level.

Adela came to ABSL with direct experience from the business services as she previously worked for one of our founding members Zebra Technologies. She used to work for the ABSL as the Operations Manager. The last 4 years she spent taking care of her small children and now she returned to be responsible for various projects.

Ivana joined ABSL in August 2022 to help in building awareness about the value added of business services sector using her marketing skills and experience gained in multinational companies. She graduated University of Economics in Prague in the field International Business. During her studies, she has already been passionate about marketing and communication. Thanks to internship in online marketing agency and coordination of marketing activities for multinational logistic company in Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary, Ivana gained complex marketing & project management skills and developed her creativity and out-of-the-box thinking which she is eager to apply in ABSL. She likes spending her free time horse-riding and beach volleyball.

Marta Lipovská

Marta supports the activities of ABSL by communicating with the media on behalf of the association and by providing other PR services. She has a great understanding of the business services sector and topics such as HR or IT. In her previous roles she worked for local media agencies as well as in a PR team of Oracle. In 2008, she founded a PR agency PRCOM, which provides services to many local and international companies and helps them achieve their business goals.
