Newstream: Innovation as a growth engine for business services. How can this sector inspire other sectors

Published On: 17. 10. 2024

The IT and business services sector is one of the fastest growing segments of the Czech economy and is becoming one of its main pillars. Today, the Czech Republic employs about 175,000 people in this sector, and this number is growing every year – 10,000 new jobs were added last year. Its contribution is growing not only in terms of the number of employees, but also in terms of economic importance and technological innovations that are spreading from the Czech Republic to the world.

Innovation will be the theme of the ABSL conference in November, which attracts and inspires several hundred professionals from around the world every year.
This year the organisers have given the conference, which will take place on 5 and 6 November, an almost festival-like format. Participants will be able to see “under the hood”, so they will be able to get a live taste of the atmosphere and dynamics of the IT services industry. That is why the organizers have set the meeting of leaders in the field of business services in Prague’s Karlín district. More about the event was revealed in an interview by the president of the organizing association ABSL Jaromír Staroba.
