Jonathan Appleton: It’s all about the people

At the beginning of November, the Courtyard by Marriot hotel in Brno will host a two-day conference for the corporate, IT and customer service industry. The industry, which is at the birth of innovation in global business, employs 160,000 experts, cares about the development of its people and is becoming a dominant sector of the Czech economy. We spoke to Jonathan Appleton, head of the industry association ABSL, about the direction the industry is taking as well as the challenges it faces. And because ultimately it’s all about people, ProfiHR magazine was among the conference’s media partners.
