ABSL is the one and only association in the Czech Republic bringing together some of the biggest and the most exciting employers – the business service centres. These are international hubs based in the Czech Republic but providing services to their mother companies and clients all over the world. Our job is to make sure they strive and we do this by running top-notch events and conferences, we research the field and work with our partners.

We are looking for a new team member to join our small team working with major companies and big plans. As an Event & Community Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordination of all ABSL events, including the annual conference for 500+ attendees, engaging with participants, event partners and suppliers, and maintaining regular communication with ABSL members as their primary contact.

Who do we need?
  • Secondary school with a leaving exam (Economic field as an advantage), a University degree is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with project and event management experience
  • A real team player who wants to learn and grow
  • Proactivity, responsibility and nothing-is-a-problem approach
  • Excellent proficiency in English to communicate within the team and with our members – English is our work language
  • Specific skills – MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word mainly), Zoom, HubSpot or other CRM system or event management is a plus
What will you do?
  • Plan and coordinate all ABSL events (2-3 per month, online and offline), including the biggest ABSL event – ABSL Annual Conference for 500+ attendees
  • Ensure the smooth execution of all events, including the selection of suppliers and communication with them
  • Bring in fresh ideas to enhance our events
  • Communicate with event participants (ABSL members), manage event registrations and prepare invitations, follow-ups, and other communications
  • Collaborate with the team on planning the calendar and new events
  • Monitor and adhere to event budgets
  • Provide project management and support within projects for the team
  • Maintain regular communication with ABSL members and partners (111 members) as their main contact person
  • Assist in creating marketing content, especially materials related to events
